Welcome to Integration Assistant, we are excited to tell you about who we are and what we do! At IA, we use artificial intelligence to make it easy for people to integrate into the Netherlands. This sounds very new, but it is easier than you might think! We do this by providing workshops and tips on how to use existing services online, and we are also developing our own AI specifically made to help refugees entering the Netherlands as their new home.
Why use AI?
AI tools are used all around the world now to answer questions we have about al sorts of topics. For integration, ChatGPT is already very capable of answering questions on topics like culture, interpreting and writing emails, norms and values, safety, education or work. It also speaks every language available. And best of all, it is free to use! As students, we use ChatGPT on a regular basis, and we experience how it will help us in our personal development. That is why we believe that training refugees who arrive in the Netherlands to use AI will help them take autonomy in their integration process.
What do we teach?
At IA, we teach the basics of using ChatGPT. We start with teaching participants what it is, how it can, and also how it cannot be used. Then, we continue on how to find it and how to make an account. After that, we teach how to turn a question into a prompt, we want to ensure that participants find the information they are looking for. Then, they are encouraged to try to answer as many questions as they might have, and we will guide them in the process. We finalize the learning process by providing tips and tops on how to use it during their integration process.
